Getting started
Scan the QR code on your hub
Open this page by scanning the QR code on your GRIT Hub's screen to begin setup.
Choose your 4-digit security PIN
Choose a password
Will this hub connect to WiFi? Skip if it's on a wired connection — you can add WiFi later from admin settings.

Screen flicker
Point your phone's speaker at the hub
Hold the phone close — within a few inches of the hub's microphone — and keep it steady. The sound is repeating on a loop.
Audible tone
Quiet (near-ultrasonic)
Keep the sound playing — we'll connect to your hub automatically.
Screen flicker mode
Place the hub's photocell flat against your phone screen, then start. The screen will flash a black-and-white pattern. Keep it covered and still until the hub shows Success.
